Exploration : Coffee Dates

I have become one of those people that goes to the same coffee shop at the exact same time, on the exact same day, and orders the exact same thing {okay, sometimes I alternate between banana bread + lemon squares, but I always an Aztec Gold Hot Chocolate}. It's gotten so regular that I can now determine the barista that made my hot chocolate by how it tastes.

I have, however, walked past two coffee shops that seriously intrigue me. So instead of being a butt and just never going to either of them, it's going to be my main mission to go to each of them in the next two weeks! I say two weeks, because I try not to spend all my money on going out for coffee, and hence try to limit it to a fancy drink once a week.

I found this one on my way to get my hair done a couple of weeks ago, and was in a hurry so I didn't have time to stop and try it, but I love its location right on the merging of two streets, and it's "Flatiron Building"-esq design seems quite cozy and fun! {Have a click on the photo and it will take you to a really decent review of the spot! I think I'll be trying the ginger cocoa... sounds tasty!}

This other one I first noticed a couple of months ago. I guess I have a thing for weird corner coffee shops, because I love love love this one's design! I also like that it's right in the middle of a residential neighbourhood... for some reason it reminds me of back east... quaint, and friendly!

Of course, I will report back on my findings and do a little review for each of these locations. I'm excited to try something new! This spring + summer are going to be Adventure Time {some of you will get the reference, I hope} for this Miss Liz!
